Yes,because it would give Kalani another opportunity to make good on his promise
to every graduating senior in 2017 that he would personally pay for their trip to attend the bowl game they were sure to earn in 2018. He was so upset that they didn't get a bowl game in 2017, he said he'd pay their way personally.
Crickets in 2018. Not sure how many would have taken him up on a free trip to Boise that year, but if he makes good on his promise I'm sure there will be more than a few happy to go to Hawaii with their wives on his dime.
I'd be interested to see if he comes through 2 years later, or if that was just more happy talk.
