I'm glad at least some MWC fans would take us back; seems the fans of most of those schools hate us as much as Utah and USU do. That said, I do disagree with your assessment; I don't think going back to the MWC would be a great move for BYU at the moment. Especially while we're already losing - being in the MWC, we'd just be losing those games to conference mates and possibly plummeting to the bottom of the standings (maybe the middle). For the time being, the MWC would represent a decrease in money, autonomy, national profile while not necessarily getting us a ton more wins. You mentioned that MWC focus on development - but going to the MWC wouldn't change the coaches we currently have, which imo is the biggest problem BYU currently has anyway outside of the already characterized "uniqueness."
