Their SOS is bad, especially compared to other teams in the hunt?
Per Sagarin, Utah’s SOS is 40. That’s better than Bama (59), Clemson (64), Oklahoma (49), Georgia (50), and Baylor (65). It’s very close to LSU (34) and Penn St (39). The only 2 that are much better are Ohio State (20) and (ironically) Oregon (24).
And you can’t possibly say the P12 is close to the worst as long as the joke that is the ACC is out there.
