The Reckoning by John Grisham, has a very detailed account of the atrocities
the Japanese committed during their invasion of the Philippians and the Bataan Death March. Although The Reckoning is fiction, I am sure JG put a lot of effort into research to make sure his fictional account was accurate.
Definitely a good read if you want to learn more about these events and you like John Grisham books.
