Is it a risk when an actor retires from a role?

It wasn't any riskier than the end of The Dark Knight Rises (which didn't take real risks either....don't get me wrong).

I enjoy comic book movies including Marvel, and am looking forward to sharing them with my kids when they get older. But let's not pretend they are anything more than they are.
