Determined to get them out of my house before they reproduce and make it worse. When I have mouse droppings in my pantry and by my dog’s food bowl etc, I suppose I’m willing to risk a little inhumanity if it’s effective. Plus I check them before I go to bed and when I wake up so it will definitely not be multiple days of suffering.

That being said, when I run out of glue traps I will probably resort back to the more humane yet less effective standard trap.
