While it would be nice to land Lohner, etc. the truth is that the difference between who BYU loses and who they ultimately sign is not huge. Its not like the guys BYU misses on are 1st Round NBA Draft picks. I would much rather have a non-entitled kid who will work hard and accept a role than a slightly more talented kid who is less team oriented and tries to do too much. You can see the difference between those types of recruits by comparing the beginning of Rose's tenure to the end. He had much more talented rosters (in terms of recruiting) during his WCC days, but the MWC teams were better because guys were more blue collar and willing to accept roles within the team structure.
