including against us. They're more than happy to play us, but trying to be LDS anywhere near their campus is an extremely unpleasant experience. So I am conflicted about playing them regularly. I love that we treated them well and that their players enjoyed the experience, but I also know that they're going to go back to a campus where they're taught that we're evil deveil worshippers who must be exposed and fought against. So I don't think it's unreasonable for BYU fans to be unsure about playing a team from a university that actively persecutes us pretty heavily. Part of me liked playing them, and thinks that maybe the university will start to change their view from having positive experiences playing us. But part of me knows that there's also a good chance that doesn't happen, and that they continue to be incredibly hateful towards us regardless of the positive experiences their players and fans have with us. And I do wonder if playing them helps to support that behavior.
