Oops. There goes that narrative. And I wonder just how much Billy Casper
memorabilia was around at BYU. I never saw any and I was there after his career had peaked but he was still playing. And as far as I know, he never attended BYU.
And if BYU was interested in only honoring "perfect" people, one wonders how Jim McMahon slipped through. He divorced his wife of 25+ years and was co-habitating with his girlfriend at the time of his HoF induction and BYU was fully aware of it.
