I hate that the rivalry always seems to go there.

It immediately takes any amount of fun out of it and makes it extremely bitter and vitriolic. I’ve been on the other side of that, being accused of being self righteous or holier than thou for being a BYU fan. Both are extremely lame and unfortunate.
