He just loves the school and the sports.  He lives across the street from me and honestly it is pretty embarassing how some of the BYU fans are in the ward.  Every year they will decorate his car or his office and even his house, or do things like steal his Utah flag.  This year some BYU fans in the ward toilet papered his house with blue streamers and little blue flags and silly string a day before the game.  

This year he left it up and then after the game went and cleaned it up.  I went over and helped him and I could tell he was being nice about it but it was wearing very thin.  He did say, "I'll be honest, it is a lot easier to clean up after a win, which is why I left it up this year."

I'm not sure who it is exactly although I have my suspicions. I think these BYU fans think they are being fun, but it is pretty unseemly and disrespectful to me - particularly because he isn't obnoxious about his fanhood at all. Especially bad to do to a guy who is so busy to have to clean up a mess each year. 

There are idiots on all sides.
