USU fans didn't see those 3 losing seasons as success years, but Utah State tends to rebuild by giving lots of freshmen playing time a couple seasons in a row. Once they become upperclassmen, they load up on JC players. They then have a couple years of success before falling again. It's cyclical.
6-7 is not a huge success in any program. It might be a baby step forward, but it's not a huge success. Bronco would admit that a 6-7 season is a rebuilding year. 8-5 is not a rebuild if that's the peak, but Bronco will win at least 9 this season.
