I thought it was the single most game changing call in the game. Fouls are called or called all the time.
Frequently throughout the game lots of contact is ignored and little to no contact is called. That's part of the game.
But a clear defensive deflection (and maybe even a push in the back) to go "unnoticed" changed the entire game. It was an egregious miss. It's missed calls like that sort that give credence to questioning what was going on with the officiating.

And yet the announcers, after seeing clearly that the Utah player knocked it loose, claimed it was the right call.

Yeah, I guess I don't know the rule, but that confused me too. The Utah guy knocked it out of our guy's hands
