alright my world-travelling friends, assuming my wife and I stay together that long, we are planning to go to Afrika
for our 20-year anniversary (I think we're coming up on our 19-year anniversary, so I have about 1.5 years to plan). For those who have done a safari, or anything from Kenya down to South Africa, I'd love to hear thoughts.
- Going with just me and her
- Goldilocks budget (not luxury, but I'm ok with spending a little money for the tours that let you pet the lion$)
- Thoughts on hiring a guide for the non-Safari stuff?
- Probably going to be on-continent for about 10 days

You do have to be careful but you can also travel through South Africa and never know the crime is there.
