I’m curious how the 30-40 ranked teams fare. If you assume that the top 30 gets
in 100% of the time, then that would mean the top 30-40 get in 69.2% of the time. Not quite as good of odds.

Over the last 5 years, 92.3% of all non-probation teams in the Kenpom top 40 have made the tournament.
