I think a big part is acknowledging and validating their concerns. There ARE adverse side effects to vaccinations.

Almost all of these are very minor but more severe reactions can occur too. These are very, very rare though. But if you jump in saying "vaccines are safe, no risks!" They will probably immediately dismiss anything else you have to say.
