and this is why the "we don't have P5 money" excuses ring hollow with me. They obviously have plenty of money if they're turning an 8 figure profit each year on athletics they just decline to actually spend it on athletics otherwise they wouldn't be running a profit.

Personally they should be using that money, or the vast majority of it, and have just a small profit but that just isn't how they do things. And they've been showing multi million dollar yearly profits for a long time. It may not be $10 mil every year, I remember a few years ago it was about $5 mil, but still multi millions.
