I prefer top 40 finishes over finishes in the 70's. Don't understand the fans

who prefer the other way around. If the latter-Bronco years weren't enough for people, they should be exponentially more upset now.

Sure it was frustrating to go from a top 25 average to a top 40 average, but dropping to a bottom-half FBS is much worse.
