Also check the cable to see if corrosion is down the line as well.
Sometimes if the corrosion is bad enough, it's spread down the cable (usually inside the rubber housing) and it can cause issues as well.

Best way to test?

Connect a battery from another car and see if it cranks better (or do a jump). If so, it's a battery issue. If not then there might be an issue with the power cables being corroded.
