It was about equal when I last calculated to compare
I forget which state’s income tax I used as a comparison, probably Utah? Anyway, when we bought a few years ago the property tax number was close to the same as what income tax would be. So it’s not necessarily advantageous or disadvantageous overall. Depends how much you make and what you buy, of course.

Valuation increases are usually capped at 10% plus there are some exemptions you can get to reduce valuation by a bit.
