A 3000 sq/ft home in SF is literally 10 times more than one in KC. I can't
imagine trying to live in a cramped 1200 sq/ft million dollar condo and being happy with a wife and 4 kids.

SF for weather and food. But it is an expensive, stinky place.

Better variety and high-end in SF but KC is best in the world for BBQ

I'd take Texas bbq over KC, but KC is great.

I think I'd reluctantly choose SF, just because I'm still young enough in career

That’s probably fair. Usually easier to go down than up.

SF is one of the most beautiful places on earth, it’s why everyone lives there

Coming out of grad school my job choices came down to two finalists located in KC and San Jose.

An important consideration is the people. KC is simply full of pleasant midwest folk great to work with and live around

To be fair, I hear the homeless in SF are eager to approach people.

And many people are completely open about themselves. Completely. No secrets.

I love the mountains but the ocean in San Francisco is useless.

KC doesn't have the poo that SF does. And BBQ beats anything SF has to offer

KC has better BBQ. Nothing else food wise is better

Okay, the factors are these: your personal politics; weather; cost of living;
