I’ve just seen and experienced to much to consider them anything more than a show of interest. They aren’t really commitments, in fact they really seem to be a tool being used to attract more suitors and extract more offers. Pretty much a “Look how good I am now everyone else come calling” tactic.

So to me those is much ado about nothing and the next time BYU manages to get a “commitment” from a HS freshman I’d advise everyone to simply not give it much credibility because the truth is it doesn’t have much credibility.
