So many great business leaders majored in Econ at BYU
Clayton Christensen, Mitt Romney (and sons), Kim B Clark (though he transferred to Harvard), and probably many more.

I actually liked Econ while a student in the 1990s and was a declared major for a little while, strongly considered it. I tried to pick the brains of several faculty members on the strengths of the program and I honestly think they undersold it, as I don’t recall them mentioning their distinguished alumni.

Any CBers graduate from BYU’s Econ program? Did it work out well for you? I think it’s a great major to help people learn to think critically and gain some quantitative skills. Good background for graduate training in many fields.
