Yes but not by my boss...by my customers. When you're the only one who works
and literally nobody can come do your job for you, you have to go to work if you can so your customers don't get mad and never come back because you cancelled their appointment. That happened where I literally couldn't get out of bed but thankfully most understood I had little control over that.

No, it's better for you to stay home and be sick for a few days than "work through it" & infect 7 others at the office.
