Love you use S+P ratings (from 2018 no less) but don't bring up the FEI rankings (62nd in 2018) which show BYU's defense to be at best average. Bottom line for me is that I know our defense could be so much better than it is and we're resigning ourselves to mediocre defenses at best. At least Grimes' offenses are getting better year over year unlike Tuiaki's defenses. Our defensive game planning and adjustments are pathetic. Tuiaki's defenses should be at their peak 4 yrs in, not declining.
