Ultimately wins are what matters. Just because a large number of recruits from a clasS stick around and contribute that doesn’t necessarily make it “excellent”.

For instance if New Mexico St has a class that most of them stick around and become contributors but they still go 2-10 that hardly qualifies as “excellent”.

I think your criteria for excellence is a very low bar if that is all it takes.
