I see no one guilty of your exaggerated claims.
Hard to have a serious talk when you're just making stuff up. But on top of nobody "blaming Bronco for all of this staff's failures" lol, if you aren't grasping or aren't willing to recognize the importance of classes years in advance at a place like BYU, there are places you can turn to get a view. 247 has a good article from Jeff Hansen on how they matter. With how spread out they are and when such a huge percentage of a class falls apart, what it can do to the future of the program a few years down the road. What it does to available quality starters, what it does to depth, and what it does to overalls scholarship numbers, especially when they're taken up by lower quality guys.

In no way is it pointing fingers. I specifically said poor evaluations were one single factor out of many that led to the failure of those classes. It's not anyone's fault that someone gets so churchy after a mission that he can't handle football, or that players get fat and lazy, or get in trouble before enrolling, or after enrolling, or not caring at all about academics, or flat out get injured.
There are plenty of factors. And it's also true that what we're seeing with recent classes is, despite the whining about team ranking, they're showing the ability to raise the floor of classes and add better depth. Showing the ability to identify talent regardless of stars and ratings. If it all has to be explained for the 1000th time on here, oh well. If you call these facts lipstick on a pig, oh well. Your loss.
The ceiling of BYU recruiting classes is not extremely high. But it can quickly jump up quite a bit with even two or three more guys. Which again shows that team rankings can be very arbitrary... One single guy, Gentry, boosts BYU's class by like 20 spots. One guy, and he's not someone who is going to absolutely change your program around. So think about that. Rankings from the 40's to 70's can be split by the tiniest things and it makes them lose value.

One would definitely not be an awfully big BYU fan if they don't acknowledge the impact of certain things at this school that don't factor in at other places. Scholarships, missions, all sorts of things. Nobody is playing any blame game. But it's important to acknowledge every single thing that comes into play for any given roster, wins and losses, recruiting priorities based on scholarship availability, etc. Dozens of working parts in football and you think anyone is "blaming" any one party or one factor for something.
