Part of what makes Butler great is his willingness to step back and let
teammates do work. He doesn't care about winning his way. He just wants to win. But he has the capability to take and make big shots. He's every bit the defender Kobe was, maybe a bit more versatile in terms of matching up against stronger players.
Not as good individually as Bryant, but nearly a perfect #2 next to Shaq. Or surround him with Bynum/Gasol/Odom and he would've won a ton of games.
