MIL got rear ended and was initially fine, but a month later her neck developed an issue that was so painful that it made her practically incapacitated for quite a while. Her doctor said too much time had passed between the time of the accident to say it was that for sure. But come on man, it was only a month and nothing else happened to her in that time. I think it's a bunch of BS. They did end up leaving for their mission after like a 4 month delay. She has been mostly good, but I know that it's still affecting her to some extent. That was almost 2 years ago. Accidents suck.
