even if the light is yellow. I have seen them written when they are red as well. Just because a light turns red it doesn't alleviate your responsibility as a driver to make sure the intersection is clear before making the turn. A lot of people focus on the color of the light and that is not a particularly compelling argument when a vehicle is travelling in your direction.
