So you make an effort to correctly pronounce Chile like a local. But you likely make no attempt to correctly
pronounce Scotland like a local. Or pronounce Australia like a local, or Italy, etc., etc. Why is Chile so special?

People will pronounce Mexico with the strong "x" sound, but then turn around and pronounce Chile like a local. I don't get the inconsistency.
