If not for those trials early in my life, I would have turned out very different today. I wouldn’t trade those job losses for anything. I’ve learned to sincerely appreciate what they taught me.

Part of me is glad that my kids are living through this now. They’ve grown up spoiled and easy. But now, even though we’re not going to be hit financially this time as bad as many others, my kids are going to learn to sacrifice anyway.
