and largely agreed with it. I re-watched it after I read your post and still largely agree with it. I don’t believe that Carlson was saying that we should ignore Fauci and listen to him (Carlson). To me, Carlson was questioning whether the President (and others like Governors) was/were doing more harm than good by following too closely the advice of Fauci. Carlson opines that perhaps those whose expertise is over the spread of diseases and how to combat them should not be the only ones the President listens to, especially when their solutions take a massive toll on the economy. Because of this, I don’t think that Carlson is trying to “deflect any blame from the one who is actually running the country” at all. In fact, I believe Carlson is actually insinuating that Trump (and state governors) deserve(s) blame for what most people are assuming will be a fairly substantial economic recession because he/they listened too well to Fauci in implementing policies that may have unnecessarily hurt the economy.
