Perception of the program was better in 2015 than 2004 and BYU has played weaker
competition both under Mendenhall and Sitake — with Sitake having the easier schedules on average — than Crowton's teams played during his tenure. Don't tell me BYU doesn't have the talent to win 8–9 games each season with consistency when we can beat Wisconsin, USC, Tennessee, Boise State. BYU has started the season 2-1 against P5 opponents each of the last two seasons only to finish 7-6 both years.
