I dont know if you said it was overblown or not.
I just know early on that the narrative from the media was, "We are going to lose 2 million lives if Trump does not shut everything down. And still hundreds of thousands will die even if we do shut things down."
People on here were blasting anyone for even suggesting we need to have a reasonable approach with both Public Health and Economics.
It just comes off as those who were peddling fear now saying "Hey guys we were all wrong, lets just all realize that we were all wrong, and not talk about it anymore." Whereas many of the economic predictions have actually come to pass, and very few of the doom and gloom predictions on deaths have.
