Here is the problem. The way the forgiveness formula works is they forgive
8 weeks if you employ for 13 weeks (entire quarter). If you have any employees that earn over $100K, you eat it. There are definitely some ways around it, but every day that passes, they change the rules, providing no confidence that you can make any decision based on what they are doing.

Unfortunately, they way that they have designed it, there isn't any real incentive to pay people if all you get is forgiveness. We will be running our business as if there is no forgiveness - otherwise would cost us too much money. We can't rely on them to do what they said they will do.

My guess is that we will get about 50% forgiveness, which I am still grateful for and it will help us stem our losses and hopefully be ready if we can come out of this soon. It won't save the people we need to layoff or furlough due to lack of business...
