Which I will never be. I'm an old man, 68 to be exact and since a couple of weeks before the lock down I have been trying to watch what I eat a little bit and have been doing what for me is a lot of walking for exercise. I average a little more than four miles a day and most days I play 18 holes of golf. I do ride while playing the golf most of the time but I try to get a bunch of steps in as I'm doing it. I'm also counting calories and try to stay under 1500 a day. I don't really know how accurate my counting is. I stay away from fried foods, most dairy, and have almost completely avoided sweets.
So, here in my question. As I do this I am trying to eat more and more fruit. I'm not a vegetable guy, but salads do find their way to my table once in a while. Some fruits are actually quite high in calories but have little to no calories from fat. So, how much can I eat? The main fruits I am eating are bananas, pineapple, grapes, and mangoes when I can find decent looking ones. I've dropped over 25 pounds which I think is pretty good for an old dude, but I'd like to drop another 10-15. I'm under 200 as of today for the first time in about 30 years.
