Yesterday Drew Brees said, twice, that he did not think that kneeling during the National Anthem was appropriate, that it showed disrespect for America. Today he apologized for his statements yesterday. IMO, what he said yesterday was not wrong at all. I have no problem trying to correct injustices, whether they are social, legal, personal, etc. What I do have a problem with is doing it by showing disrespect for our nation and the symbol of that nation: our flag. I also don't approve of protesting during a sporting event. You want to protest? Fine, do it on your own time, not with 80,000 fans who have paid to watch you play football. So put me in the "A" category.
