I don't think society should scrutinize his apology one way or the other

We overthink things. We pay attention to other people's every move way too much. Remove the beam from your own eye, folks. We analyze every freaking move or word of every single person in the public spotlight. I hate it.

Brees is a good person. A good teammate. A good family man. A good advocate for many things. Let's not overanalyze his remarks yesterday and his apology today.
