We make this mistake in our own lives. One example I can think of is when someone loses a loved one and people say “They are in a better place now”. That may be true, but it doesn’t recognize the pain and emotions of loss the person is dealing with.

Drew was right in what he said, but wrong I’m not recognizing that he wasn’t seeing the big picture. His apology was great I thought. He’s a good dude by all accounts and should be given credit. The whole point of these protests is to raise awareness and help people see something they weren’t so Brees should be seen as an example of good here as much as any celebrity marching in the streets.
