Don't get me wrong, I still think Brees is a tremendous man. As for timing,....

based on what he said, there would literally never be a good time to say it in today's world, ie, a time in which he could express a 100% pro-American statement to the media and then not be criticized for saying it. I served 24+ yrs in the Air Force and it kills me inside to see what's happening today.
