People get this very confused.

Apparel deals are largely based on SALES not fan sizes. So if UTEP sales more (doubt they do) they'll get more money bc the fans will dish out more. They get more options etc. Last I checked when Utah's deal dropped Byu was in the 60s. Most fans get their gear from unofficial sites.
