It's a sports board! That is my opinion on the BYU head football coach
We can differ and discuss opinions until the cows come home. That's my opinion and I 100% stand by that opinion.

We passionately discuss the mental capacity (or lack thereof) of our elected leaders everyday. Why not our public sports figures?

You and lots and lots of people have a different opinion. I'm good with that. It's a sports board.

Here are some highlights for my opinion on Kalani's mental football coaching capacity:

1. First indicator - Continual (8-9 times) in the disaster 4-9 year Kalani confessing on national postgame interviews "I don't know what went wrong" in explaining the loss. You can't say that on national or local radio and not be questioned about your coaching capacity - which leads to questioning metal ability.
You can say, they had a better game plan or they had more speed at the corners or wideouts, or their line play was exceptional. Any number of actual reasons (almost countless) for why your team got beat. "I have no clue what went on out there" is not one of them. You can't say that even once and not be questioned. I started questioning.....

2. Baffling game plans and game play through each year.

3. 4th and 19 fake punt from our own 5.

4. Inexplicable losses each year to doormat teams. Not just one a year, but multiple losses each year.

So I don't just pull that strong opinion out of my yewt.

Four years of the plainest D on the planet.

At the end of the day, yes, I question his football capacity.

I pray Kalani proves me wrong. I'll be thrilled to say I was totally wrong about Kalani, "he's a genius!, I hope he stays longer than Lavell."

But I have seen zero indicators so far.
