That's not what I've heard. I've heard you sit there most the day and catch
Maybe one or two cuts.
It sounds like to me that they've ruined the reservoir in their quest to beat the chubs. When I was growing up you could keep the cuts and you still mostly caught rainbow. ~3lb rainbow were common. We'd limit out by 10am a lot of the time.
Like I said I haven't been up there in a few years but even then the fishing wasn't great. I've talked to my friends and family who still live there and they say it's worse every year. Last year I don't think my dad limited out once. He went probably 10 weekends.
