No, especially not in the era of advanced stats. Young was a really good hitter
And was very consistent but not particularly good at anything other than hitting for average.

He’s not even a borderline candidate.

He wasn’t a particularly good fielder, base runner, Not great at getting on base, and didn’t hit for power.

He also didn’t have a particularly long career.

Joey Votto is more of a borderline candidate and has had a much better career than Young. Votto is elite at getting on base and still may not get in, probably needs another couple of good years to have a shot.
