I thought it was ridiculous how long it took for Walker, but it was more that He was the victim of some bad luck - his last 7 years saw 13 1st ballot HOFers, 8 others, plus many votes going to the steroid crowd of McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, and Clemens.

I see Votto going the Vladimir Guerrero route. Votto's reputation at OBP is like Vlad's as a hit everything player. They have the same # of MVPs and top 10 finishes.

A couple years of counting stats and Votto will be pretty safe.
