Enough on hand to give a large sum of money to every alarmist they would have to hold a lot more in cash, and then make less money with that cash not invested. We as consumers, don’t accept that so we have demanded (intrinsically) that they keep as little cash on hand as possible, that way they can operate with as low of fees as possible.
