I was a year too late. Got our first place that we could barely afford
While I was finishing up school. Getting the job then that i had a year later would have let me get into one of those 165 k houses that are going for 400k now. Oh well, you do what you can.
Ended up getting a good amount of equity in it and have upgraded twice to about 100k + in equity right now in an OK place in northern Utah County. We’ve done well but i don’t know how smart pushing close to 2k a month for a house is.
