In all honesty - I might have a handful of charities I'd want to leave some money for.

And some of the answer might depend upon how my kids are doing. If I've got a lazy butt kid who doesn't want to work and just wants to live off of his inheritance, I might be setting up a trust that gives an annual amount or has benchmarks (like holding a job for an extended period of time) that have to be met for them to receive their inheritance. I don't know - maybe that is too complex.

But basically - I don't expect to have all that much. So whatever I have I'll leave to my kids and hope it gives them a little boost, like allowing them to pay down their mortgage or something.
