So as you noted there are a bunch of exceptions to it...
and that’s the point. It is not enough money to throw your cares away. You would still need to exercise a large degree of discipline, live on a budget, plan, deny yourself things you want, it is not a live the high life with no worries amount of money.
I’ve done well in life and certainly a windfall of that magnitude would enhance things for me and my wife but it wouldn’t make it so that we’d never have to budget or concern ourselves with what we spend or do again.
Yes it could add to our confidence and enhance our lifestyle, it could minimize concerns and help provide a greater peace of mind, it would be a very nice addition to those things. It would not eliminate all concerns, not even close.
